TeO celebrates its partnership with M1; appoints new CCO

Integrated Telecommunications Oman SAOC (TeO) staff recently celebrated the signing of the investment agreement with Singapore’s M1 Limited (M1) by organizing a cake cutting ceremony in their office premises. This occasion coincided with the appointment of Mr Seow Tiong Wong as the new Chief Commercial Officer of TeO. Mr Seow Tiong Wong will be responsible for the commercial strategy planning and development in the company.
Last month, M1’s wholly owned subsidiary M1 TeliNet Pte Ltd has entered into an agreement to acquire 15% interest in TeO on a fully diluted basis. M1 is a leading telecommunication service provider in Singapore providing mobile and fixed services to close to 2 million customers.
Elaborating the new developments, a senior spokesperson of TeO says: “This deal has brought in a lot of excitement and we look forward to learning from M1’s focus on network quality, customer service, value and innovation. We welcome Mr Seow Tiong Wong to TeO, he brings a wealth of industry experience from a very advanced part of the world. We are sure he will play a key role in realising our goal of providing an outstanding experience to our customers in Oman”.
TeO is Oman’s first private CLASS I licensee international gateway operator, a mobile services reseller and international calling card services provider in the Sultanate of Oman. TeO currently operates with its consumer product brand "Allo" and its endorsed brands "TeO Globe" and "TeO Business".
